First and foremost, thank you for being exactly who YOU are. In one way or another, our paths have crossed in this life. With that in mind I began to build this website. It is my humble way of saying thank you while also memorializing what makes our relationship personal. For that I have created a set of forums in what I have now appropriately named… “The Good Times Network”.
In here I begin my “One man lazy revolution”
I’m going to be honest, I want things to change for the better, but I also don’ t want to do too much work… Because sincerely guys, I did not make all this mess on my own, so I don’t want to be the only one out here trying to clean up.
If you wanted to find a way to help humanity, but not put too much effort, what would you do? I figured I could start with something simple. I abandoned Facebook and took my data with me. Took ownership of it. Social networks are a great tool, however; the current incarnation of the monsters created by the Zucks and his cohorts have transformed into out of control machines (or machines FOR control… but I digress). Even with all those connections, here we find ourselves more disconnected, more divided and wondering why we are more alone than ever…
Want to help me create a better network?
Personally I could talk forever as to the why of things, and realistically I will at some point because I really want to leave this place better than I found it. However, I wanted whatever it is that I’m building here, to be more solution focused and not problem oriented. After all, you can’t clean a dirty pool by just swimming in the trashy water right?
Welcome to my experiment. A way to bring everything and everyone I personally love and admire; together on a network with better connection and purpose. A more privacy minded, secure and uncluttered binary space where we can worry less about targeted algorithms tainting organic experiences; and can concentrate on meaningful interactions with real friends. A digital forum focused to inspire, motivate, help and learn from each other. All this while trying to save the world, and not do, like, TOO much work.
There will be lizard people. Time travel MAY or MAY NOT be involved. Continue forward if you want to help change the future!
On a more serious note, I currently have a business I have been working to materialize, so if you know me, you are familiar with Immortal Brewing Company. Immortal continues to adapt and overcome, and neither the great “Weirdmageddon” of 2020 or a personal brush with death could stop this project.
There has been some restructuring in order to overcome the effects of Covid-19 on the economy but I’m happy to report there is a plan, and the wheels are finally in motion.
