Does art imitate life, or does life imitate art?
For the first time ever, we “recorded” a black hole. A project that, in my very humble opinion, demonstrated mathematics truly is a language with which we as a species can better understand the universe. For someone that hated math so much that they repeated Algebra II in high school 3 times, this is a bold statement.
But I digress. Before we programmed multiple giant telescopes throughout the entire planet to aim at the same spot in the sky. Before we created the programs to tabulate all incoming data from so far away. Before we captured the light particles that traveled millions of light years without crashing into anything else after escaping the gravity wells of a black hole. Before we even imagined we could do all this with computers; a mathematician had already drawn prophetically accurate models of what a black hole may look like…
Like with a pencil.
From numbers he understood with his brain.
It is mind-blowing AMAZING how spot on he was. As far as I’m concerned Luminet can read Matrix code. That man turned numbers into art, and that art turned out to be reality later on when technology caught up. I am sincerely astonished by his vision.
I feel we can all agree this event is a milestone in modern science and history. We got to live through it. Geniuses used their wizardry to understand the number data that explain the rules for how reality functions. All this to represent it visually in order for people like me to understand what they meant with their scientific moonspeak.
In any case, while in awe at the boundless creativity and intelligence of humanity, a little idea emerged. A spark of motivation ignited by what I had witnessed and blueprinted with what little knowledge I have acquired. Inspired by all this, something happened inside that hollow space where my brain should be.
But in order for this “idea” to become a reality, I had to get to work.
Inspired by the Wright brothers, whom where bicycle makers by trade, I realized an absolute truth…
I am an insignificant organism on a spec of dust drifting through the cold vastness of space holding the infinite power to change that very universe as I wish.
I don’t know how many pots the Wrights had smoken, but they decided they wanted to fly and they hacked away until they did. This is true for absolutely each and every one that has changed history and is also very true for YOU!
This portal is a social experiment, a one man #LazyRevolution, a digital Noah’s ark, a museum/gallery, an apology for my terrible contributions to the collective knowledge of humanity and an misguided monument to my self diagnosed magnificence.

Self Accountability

We live in the golden age of information. Being ignorant is a choice for a large majority of people, so if you have access to this site, I have to assume you have access to all the actual knowledge in the world, just like me.

The Electronic Frontier Foundation is about as old as me. I sincerely support their work and stances on pretty much everything, as our values align incredibly well. I highly recommend their “privacy toolbelt” as the true first and most basic step to freedom online. How far down the rabbit hole you go after that is all up to you.
