Another one got caught today, it’s all over the papers. “Teenager Arrested in Computer Crime Scandal”, “Hacker Arrested after Bank Tampering”… Damn kids. They’re all alike. But did you, in your three- piece psychology and 1950’s technobrain, ever take a look behind the eyes of the hacker? Did you ever wonder what made him tick, what forces shaped him, what may have molded him? I am a hacker, enter my world… Mine is a world that begins with school… I’m smarter than most of the other kids, this crap they teach us bores me… Damn underachiever. They’re all alike. I’m in junior high or high school. I’ve listened to teachers explain for the fifteenth time how to reduce a fraction. I understand it. “No, Ms. Smith, I didn’t show my work. I did it in my head…” Damn kid. Probably copied it. They’re all alike. I made a discovery today. I found a computer. Wait a second, this is cool. It does what I want it to. If it makes a mistake, it’s because I screwed it up. Not because it doesn’t like me… Or feels threatened by me.. Or thinks I’m a smart ass.. Or doesn’t like teaching and shouldn’t be here… Damn kid. All he does is play games. They’re all alike. And then it happened… a door opened to a world… rushing through the phone line like heroin through an addict’s veins, an electronic pulse is sent out, a refuge from the day-to-day incompetencies is sought… a board is found. “This is it… this is where I belong…” I know everyone here… even if I’ve never met them, never talked to them, may never hear from them again… I know you all… Damn kid. Tying up the phone line again. They’re all alike… You bet your ass we’re all alike… we’ve been spoon-fed baby food at school when we hungered for steak… the bits of meat that you did let slip through were pre-chewed and tasteless. We’ve been dominated by sadists, or ignored by the apathetic. The few that had something to teach found us willing pupils, but those few are like drops of water in the desert.

This is our world now… the world of the electron and the switch, the beauty of the baud. We make use of a service already existing without paying for what could be dirt-cheap if it wasn’t run by profiteering gluttons, and you call us criminals. We explore… and you call us criminals. We seek after knowledge… and you call us criminals. We exist without skin color, without nationality, without religious bias… and you call us criminals. You build atomic bombs, you wage wars, you murder, cheat, and lie to us and try to make us believe it’s for our own good, yet we’re the criminals. Yes, I am a criminal. My crime is that of curiosity. My crime is that of judging people by what they say and think, not what they look like. My crime is that of outsmarting you, something that you will never forgive me for. I am a hacker, and this is my manifesto. You may stop this individual, but you can’t stop us all… after all, we’re all alike.

The “Hacker Manifesto”.

If the #Cadavatar is the hardware, and the soul is the user, then the question “why?” is the machine language and the Hacker Manifesto was Mentor translating it to an assembly or higher level language for those of us that don’t fit the mold. 

I think I first ran into this piece while learning about hackers on my dad’s 56K Modem.

I may not remember the exact details, but I’m almost certain the rabbit hole was catalized by having seen “Hackers” on TV, which led to learning how real “hackers” had hacked the “Hackers” website lol. That story made me reallize the difference and I learne both fear and respect for the wizards on the phone lines. Either way, I rain into this  version on Phrack Magazine , and I thought I would share a version of it here.

I wanted to post it here as an homage to Mentor and the countless people he has inspired with his words.

I wanted  to post it here as an exhibit of the power we have to change reality with our thoughts and ideas.

I wanted to post it here in the hope my soulFriends, or any stranger that happens to find this page, find in it the same message and inspiration I found. Embrace curiosity and question everything.

I wanted to post it here as a beacon, to let others know that although I may not have all (or any really) of the answers, you are not alone.

Just because I’m really not into the whole “eat” them thing.

This is through DDG and on a VPN… I wonder why it is so hard to find things online about a lizard that is sincerely hated by anyone that can see the internet as anything other than something you can bleed dry for your own interests.

And yes, this applies to public SERVANTS also. Anyone that wants to put themselves in a position of attention is more than welcome to, but in the age of the cult of personality, WE are going to ensure you earn it.

This isn’t cancel culture, it is called accountability. Do you really deserve our dollars, admiration and the power to influence the masses, or did you just get a taste of it while putting up an act and then you didn’t know when to stop?

At what point are you going to intervene?

Poor old man.

Honest mistake. Can happen to anyone. I definitely can think of at least one moment where I fumbled around foolishly in public in a similar fashion.

My problem is not the square with the adorable kitty clearly replacing an old man, but the square on the top left.

That’s a foking court hearing.

“Up to a $500 fine or 180  days in jail”. So this should be serious business that clearly at one point or another, wasn’t handled as such. That filter didn’t go on by itself.

But lets escalate this a little more. What happens when these people are the ones in charge of for reals for reals serious business?

You may not remember this, but I will never forget when I first heard senator Ted Stevens trying to explain the internet and lying about how Netflix was going to clog the tubes and slow down emails by allowing you to download movies.

I remember laughing at the memes and all the remixes of this boomer deceiving other boomers so they could stop the little guys from picking themselves by the bootstraps and keeping their boomer friends rich.

I also remember clearly deciding that I had to become part of the battle for #NetNeutrality that very instant.

It lit a fire under my ass.

The more I thought about the implications, the more scared I got about the future. However, I relaxed once I realized the “enemy” had unlimited resources but was lacking the one needed to win a battle of wits.

So the fight continues.

Now that absolute piece of shit lizard person Ajit Pai is no longer chairman of the FCC, I want to remind you once again, that the fight for the future is not over.

You gave this cringe nugget free reign over our communications for four years knowing he was a Verizon lawyer before that.

What the fok where you thinking?

This shit doesn’t happen again.

You have to promise me you are going to start to pay attention.

I’m glad I got to participate in this phenomenon.

As of this moment. Without taking any risk, I still hold BB and AMC. This is a gamble. If they go bullish, I’ll try and profit.

I however, also hold 1.32666 shares of GME I managed to snag on Stash. I wanted to buy just the one, and got lucky over the weekend during a dip so I took that extra .32666 as funky synchronicity.

I’m going to get a paper copy of that and frame it. I will hold that little bastard until death. Come and take it from my cold dead diamond hands. If I happen to find someone foolish enough to want to have a child with me, I will pass it on with the condition that it can’t ever be sold. A sort of Non Fungible Token to remember what happened here. What you absolute monsters built and deployed and achieved.

You proved that when given the time (thanks Covid-19?) and a neutral channel of communication (thanks #NetNeutrality), humanity works to improve themselves and the environment around them. The amount of stories of people using their gains to help others is so emotionally uplifting and needed at a time like this.

That scares the shit out of the status quo.

You showed the world that a revolution where not a single gun has to be handled is again possible. A revolution where the masses educate themselves and work together to disrupt the system using its very rules. A revolution where democracy is weaponized to expose weaknesses and abuse in the systems that are currently in place. A revolution where I guarantee not too many of you where worried about the race or religion of fellow apes because it doesn’t matter when you realize what the real enemy is.

Not your neighbor, but the normalization and adoration of greed.

It’s an interesting feeling when you realize how much wealth there is to redistribute if the playing field is even.

Day 6

The line held before the weekend

The hedge fund Melvin Capital has closed their GameStop Position. The losses reported in the billions. Everyone and their grandmother is ananlyzing this thing from every angle. I’m sure you can find better information than anything I can provide here, written by brighter and better minds than mine.

What you probably won’t find out ther is what I’m about to provide you. The link between what is happening at the stock market and Aliens.

Remember a very long time ago in 2019, when Matty Roberts made a meme about storming Area 51. The event went viral and a few days after it had over 4 million people had pledged to “attend”? Fast forward a little and there was two festivals and at least one arrest.

I actually kept that can to commemorate the shenanigans, and also to remind me of what I had just witnessed. What we had all witnessed. 

The speed at which the massess can organize and mobilize thanks to a neutral internet.

I remember seeing early stages of this happening in 4chan. At small scale you had board to board raids. A group would go into another board and fill it with specific topics or images. These things where spontanous, organic. There was no logic, rhyme or reason. Follow that same pattern and you would find, at a larger scale, full on operations. Sometimes pure fokery, like trying to convince the media that celebrity xyz had died. Sometimes it was for the good of humanity, like identifying animal abusers.

Things just happened.

So fast forward to 2019, Rachel NV, hours before the scheduled raid time. There are news crews reporting live, there are competing festivals and the base is on alert. This has become real enough that I had friends in the military call me to ask me not to rush the base. Love you guys for caring. I’m also concerned about how crazy you think I actually am. But I digress, the point is the entire world got a really goood look at what those “raids” online translate to in real life.

Governments and data companies are very well aware of what you can do wiht data to manipulate masses. That’s what they do on a daily basis with all the targeted advertisement they spend billions on. Foking billions.

Then one guy, with one keyboard changed that for the enitre world. 

Because ALIENS.

One of my favorite sayings is “Many a true word is spoken in jest”.

What do you think was the truth spoken to power in the jest of the #StormArea51 event?

Could it be something along the lines of:

“Hey, we are the two younger generations, and we are hyperinformed, hyperconnected and hypernetworked beyond anything you can understand or control. We are starting to notice a lot of stuff is wrong with the systems. This is usual between generations, but thanks to the internet, a technology that you can’t keep up with, we have began to correct those mistakes and you may not like it. This is however, inevitable. As proof, we will show you how your secret base is a joke to us and we have flexed on it with enough speed and numbers that you have flinched. Now we are going to throw a party”

In many ways, was that not the moment in the movie where the nerds expose the bully’s weakness? Doesn’t that lead to the collapse of the bully’s house of cards?

Fast forward to what’s happening right now. Is this not the logical evolution of protesting the system? Drum circles and molotovs be damned when an army of individuals are redistributing wealth from their toilets and sofas in a week. 

This is what happens when we have the ability to communicate and disseminate information, we can move mountains and fight dragons and I hope everyone hears about  what happened here, and before this battle is over, “that even a god-king can bleed.”

Day Five.

With noticeable casualties on their side, the Hedge Funders have begun to do anything and everything to stop the hemorraging. Working under all this pressure means mistakes. Mistakes that are immediately seized and turned into optic ammunition. 

 

Can you foking imagine selling your soul for $40? I mean, don’t get me wrong, times are tough, I’ll take the foking credit, just don’t think I’m sacrificing my values because of it. Fok, even lizard person Ted Cruz actually agreed with my homegirl AOC on criticizing the move by Robinhood.

Of course, AOC reminded him he was a seditious piece of crap that got people killed with imflamatory rethoric in a full assed attempted coupe. Ted Cruz has American blood on his hands. But I digress.

Day Four.

I’m in it for the fight.

And they have made it a fight.

Trading apps have began to slow down or outright remove GME trading options. I’m looking your way “Robin Hood“. You can go fok your market manipulating self.

I know I talk a lot about the growing speed of data and how that is affecting society, but I seriously can’t emphasize how quickly this has become the topic of the day.

And that’s just one website.

So we see these financial institutions beginning to take measures to try and not get screwed in the game they made up. If you are running into problems, please be smart and document what happens. The lawsuits have already began.

 

 

Also, helping the cause is the fact we are also seeing some heavy names in investing starting to take a stand. I gotta say, I like what I’m hearing so far.

Even the cryptosphere is paying attention, because in many ways, the explosiveness of the stock forced some hands, and that has begun to really expose market manipulation. Guess how much that does to legitimize crypto currency and decentralization?

It is almost as if raising an entire generation of humanity on stories of rebellion instead of actual freedom  may have backfired on the “powers that be”.

Day three.

I have to participate.

How can I not.

This is fully mainstream now.

When I speak of the emergence of a “System of Truth”, I kind of have a hard time explaining the concept. I’ll keep trying, but for now, I think this gentleman has done a great job of giving us an example of the way it manifests.

Also, he brought up something called “Idea Dinners” and I will definitely be adding that to my “repertoire” 

There’s already a little pushback happening from the financial sector, but the progressives seem to be jumping in to flex their muscle and I’m not mad at that.

So I decided to get in on the action. I have a couple hundred I saved by not buying Jimmy John’s anymore (We had a run, but that business will never get another rupee from me). I did want to get myself a lightsaber replica, but instead, I think I’ll use that money to gamble on this for a bit.

And in many ways, stocks are like gambling. So with that said, I have already pointed out that I am very uneducated when it comes to stonks, I want to make that clear. Consider this the “for the record” disclaimer. I am in no way offering any type of professional insight. What I can do, is provide advice as a friend. NEVER put money into cryptocurrency or stocks that you wouldn’t give away to a stranger in the street. Also if you do decide to throw your money way, just send me the Bitcoin instead…

Leonidas proceeds to throw a purchase order receipt like Gambit and cut King Xerxes right in the foking wallet.

Day of two of the GME shenanigans. This has snowballed into something bigger than all of us.

This is almost like the plot of a movie. It’s the underdog story we all love to hear, except it is literally allowing people to change their lives.

The bubble is going to burst eventually, there’s no doubt about that, but right now, it is a beautiful sight to behold.

In the last 24 hours the subreddit r/wallstreebets has gained a ton of new users. Those new users get excited about the spike and buy the stonk. This causes the stonk to go up, which scares the hedge fund fellers and forces them to seller. This causes the stonk to go up more, which then creates more buzz about the movement, and brings more new users.

That, to me, is the most interesting part. This is happening organically and as I said before, is the only possible resolution to the way the system was built. Wall Street has done everything possible to fix the game legally and it was only a matter of time until someone noticed that one of us may not have a million dollars, but there’s a million of us with a dollar ready to spend on foking back the systems that foked us.

So the minnows decided to take on the whales…

I woke up this morning to an interesting phenomenon.

The subreddit r/wallstreetbets was trending, specifically chat on the GameStop stonks.

The little guys have taken on the big guys and I sincerely feel that this is going to be a historic event. Something economy professors will teach about in the future.

You know I was going to bring it up. This is part of the #DataWars. Using public knowledge and channels of communication made possible by #NetNeutrality, an army of traders managed to create what’s known as a “short squeeze“

I would love to say that I know what I am talking about, but to be honest, I have pretty much Jar Jar Binksed my way through anything that has to do with stonks. I haven’t had any plan or discernible pattern as to what I buy or how long I plan on holding. It has usulally worked out because I don’t take big chances and I only use the money I would have spent on going out to eat that month. That way I reduce the anxiety that comes with trying to understand anything that’s happening…

However, there are others out there that have taken the time to understand and share knowledge online. I think the powers that be will say this was all by design, but I feel this is the only logical organic resolution possible. Either way, we are watching history being made.

I’m going to keep my eye on this for the next couple days. I suggest my friends do too.
