The Colombian Cowboy

I’m sure someone has done this…

But if they haven’t, then it now exists and like its creator, it is a deliciously Americanized Colombian snack.

– Mix Arepa dough with water/salt and mix till play-doh consistency to make patties.
– On a cast iron skillet, pan fry Arepas in medium heat, set aside.
– Cook beef patties (I air fried).
– Lay down lettuce and Mozarella on top of Arepa.
– Add beef patty and top with pink sauce
– Cover with Arepa

Survival Bunker Chilli

Because those cans are not going to rotate themselves

In order to keep my zombie survival pantry fresh, I have to rotate inventory, and that means perfecting Survival Bunker recipes. Here’s a simple chili.

– On a cast iron skillet, brown beef about 50% of the way.
– Add spices and continue browning to about 75%.
– Add chopped up onion and finish browning beef.
– On a separate large pot, combine beans and tomato paste, begin simmering.
– When beans have simmered for about 10 minutes, combine everything in large pot.
– Finish low-mid simmer for about 10 minutes.
